Looking for a lake to call your own?

Rocky Ridge is just the place you've been trying to find! Water-ski and camp locally in Colorado on a safe kid-friendly family oriented private reservoir. Convenient easy access from Interstate-25 (I-25) five miles north of Fort Collins, close to an hour from these local front range cities and states, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Denver, Littleton, Thornton, Arvada, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Boulder, Loveland, Cheyenne, and Laramie.

Where can we water-ski today?

It's Saturday afternoon and you're about to hook up the boat and head out to the lake. Sounds like a great idea as long as you don't get seasick. All the other boats will be zipping around making huge rollers for your skiing enjoyment. Bare footing will be out of the question. Is there anywhere to ski where you can get good water and not have to worry about being run over by another boat?

Rocky Ridge Water-ski Club was formed to provide an alternative to the public lakes. A place where you can have a fun, safe, and uncrowned water-skiing experience. We offer you a unique opportunity to be one of a limited number of members on a private lake located just north of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Rocky Ridge is an excellent place to work on your water-skiing skills; slalom, wakeboard, tricks or even barefoot! It's also a great place to teach beginning water-skiers. and, best of all, you can come out on Saturday afternoon and still get great water!

How does this work?

Each membership allows the use of one boat. Several people can split the cost of a membership.

Members may bring up to four guests with them to the lake. Special events may be arranged with the club manager.

Once at the lake, only one boat may operate at any time. Each membership gets a 20 minute rotation if others are waiting. You can use your time for any water sport activity.

The slalom course will be available in April, conditions permitting. It will stay in the water through the end of September.

While some lakes are drawn down by irrigation demands, Rocky Ridge does not fluctuate significantly. The lake level is typically within one or two feet all season.

Rocky Ridge Water-Ski Club Membership

(Limited Memberships Available)

1. Safe boating practices enforced.

2. The season runs from approximately April 1st through September 30th, or the day prior to the first day of waterfowl hunting.

3. You must read and submit your application using the Rocky Ridge Water-Ski Club Membership Bylaws.

4. Proof of insurance is required for membership.

NOTE: Every year Rocky Ridge accepts applications for water-ski club membership. Prior members have priority. After that, remaining memberships are open on a first come basis.

Rocky Ridge is a secured site. Please call to make an appointment if you would like to visit the lake. All members will be provided with a gate combination. Unescorted guests are not allowed. Here's how to find us:
